Octave, a student-run summer program, is currently seeking Howard County students who may be interested in taking free private lessons from HCPSS high school student mentors this summer. The program provides free music lessons to elementary and middle school students and aims to make music education more accessible to those who may not have access to private instruction.

Schedule and Format:
The program runs from June 29 through August 7 with one 30 minute lesson per week. Lessons may be held virtually anytime, or at Howard High School from 2:30-4:30, depending on availability and preference of the mentor and student. A recital also be held at the end of the summer.
