2016 IvyLead leadership workshops for teens - offered in Howard County Fall 2016

Cost: $325 per student for 10-12 students; $290 for 13-15 students; $255 for >15 students. The tution is paid to Ivylead. 10% of tuition cost will be provided back to CAPA as a donation.
Hard work and education are often not enough to be successful in American society. Colleges and employers seek individuals who can communicate effectively, collaborate, and lead.
Developed and taught by Adrienne Lo, a Yale alum and admissions interviewer, MBA, and human resources professional, IvyLead (www.ivylead.org) consists of twelve hours of interactive workshops focused on key leadership skills. Adrienne has taught this highly rated program in Montgomery County since 2014. Students learn to:
-increase impact and visibility in school and the community
-network with teachers and mentors
-promote themselves and prep for college/internship interviews
-make a strong first impression and use strong non-verbal communication
IvyLead is suitable for students ages 12-18
-wanting to demonstrate leadership skills in applying to colleges
-looking to build confidence as well as communication/presentation skills
-currently in leadership roles looking to enhance their abilities
